With no cable, we don't watch much TV here (want cable, yearn for cable, just don't have it) therefore, no tivo, dvr, or any of that other cool stuff that exists now, and we don't even have a VCR hooked up anymore. Needless to say, none of us have time to sit down and watch a show when it's actually on, hence, not much TV being watched. We are addicted to The Office, but we can watch full episode online, which is what we usually do. And we love American Idol, but when it's over, it's over. (David Cook rocks!!)
So Jordan convinced me to get the first LOST episode on dvd the other day. And can I just say, first episode and we were hooked. I've even got Matt going to the video store alone to get the next set. That man never goes to the video store alone. If he does, he comes home with A Man For All Seasons, High Noon, things of that nature (not that there's anything wrong with that). I remember one time I sent him to get the movie Tin Cup, he came home with Happy Gilmore. "Well, all I could remember was it was a movie about golf." Never did see Tin Cup, for which, I have a feeling, I should be grateful.
But I digress. We've almost made it through the first season of LOST and loving it! Do any of you people watch it? Don't give me any spoilers, just let me know if it's still as good four seasons later. It had better be! I'll be up to season four by next month, I'm guessing, since school will be over next Friday. (Yee haw!)

HOLY COW...we are SO addicted to LOST. The only shows we like to watch are "the office" and "LOST". Thursday nights rock. Yes...we started watching LOST last year. Derek's friend loaned us the DVD seasons one and two. We've been addicted since. Next week is the season finale, than we need to go through rehab for a while. The show is intense isn't it? Especially that very first episode huh?....jaw dropper. Anyways...can't wait for you to get caught up!

Um, okay! This show rocks!!!!!!!!! We love this show! And this season has been AWESOME. We can't wait till Thursday nights. And for The Office. We just finished season one and can't wait to get the next! Lost is well worth the time!
I am sad about our lack of cable, too--the thing I'm most sad about is our lack of a DVR. It seems like there's seldom a time when I can sit down and watch something, so I never get into shows. Randy was really into Lost for the 1st couple of seasons, but I have never been able to get into it. I tried for a while...
Have you ever seen Alias? It's probably my favorite show of all time. The first episode is INTENSE. You must give it a shot.
Oh yeah. We were huge Alias fans! JJ Abrams did both shows. I seem to like his stuff a lot. I must say, there's something about watching 4 seasons of a show on dvd without commercials or interruptions. It sure keeps you going!
