New Year's in the Desert!

The day after Christmas, we drove down to Arizona to spend the week with Matt's family. The kids got new dvd players for the car, so they each had their own screen to watch whatever they wanted. I can not believe how spoiled we are now. However, I believe it is somewhat of a trade off to being buckled 24/7 in your seat. When we were little, we never stayed buckled. What am I saying, we never buckled at all! We made little forts under the seats (of our extended van) and played games or took naps where ever we could find a comfy spot.

We had a great time with the family. 8 of the 9 kids were able to make it. On Monday, we took a HUGE family photo at the Mesa Arts Center. It wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it might be. I think there were around 50 of us.
I got a couple of shots of the kids getting ready for their picture with Grandma and Pop. What a bunch of cuties!

And these are the parents, thinking they are helping the photographer out!

By the way, how did you get that picture of the family at the top of the blog? Great picture!

I just logged in and clicked on customize. On the top bar where I've always had "Guinness Book of Records", I just added a photo to that.
