On New Year's Day, we all drove out to the desert and did a little target shooting. I love to shoot guns and am a pretty good shot, but I shot Kenny the Cop's 9MM Glock and about took my arm off. We did a little target practice on his old Kevlar vest. Apparently, it would not have protected him with the newest guns out there. He blew a couple of wide holes through the thing. Kind of scary.
The kids each took turns shooting at the many different targets Uncle Jay brought; an old microwave, scanner, pencil sharpener, expired pop cans (does pop really go bad?) among other miscellaneous stuff. He says he saves this stuff up just to go shooting. Pretty hilarious.
Here's a little video of Matt and his brothers seeing who can knock down the target first. Oh yeah, that's my man!
