The other day, Aiden said to me, "Mom, do you know why I like you? I mean, I love you too, but do you know why I really like you?"
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you always come up with the best ideas!" she answered. Apparently I had come up with a clever book report idea.
To have my child decipher that she really liked me, not just loved me was perhaps the greatest thing one of my children has ever said to me. I have always thought this about people, that loving them was the easy part, however liking them was sometimes a whole different story.
She's brilliant. I'm blessed.

Okay, I have to agree with Aiden. How many times have I called asking for help with something idea or another? You are by far one of the most creative people I know!!
