It's been a busy couple of weeks. We had a great Christmas. On Christmas Eve, our friends, the Williams came over and we watched "It's a Wonderful Life". The kids voted for "Transformers" but they were overruled. See, I told you that movie was 5 hours long. Who can stay awake for the whole thing?

And of course, the kids opened their new jammies on Christmas Eve.It snowed that night so we had a beautiful white Christmas. The kids woke us up at 8 (how we got to sleep so late I'll never know) and we opened gifts for the next hour or so.

We then had breakfast, courtesy of Matt, who made us deep fried scones. They were delicious. At 1 that afternoon, we went to our annual Christmas afternoon movie, which this year was "Alvin and the Chipmunks" (or "Alpin and the Chickmunks" as Brody calls it). It was right up his alley! And I think the girls enjoyed it also. Matt and I took a little snooze through the middle of it.

I was wondering how the movie was. I'm kinda wishing we joined you.

What is that thing that Devin is on that is black? I am trying to figure it out! I think from now on when we travel we will do what you do and have our own Christmas and travel after. Great pictures!!

They're these giant bean bags called "Fat Boys". Apparently, Bed Bath and Beyond tried them out for awhile and they weren't a big hit, regularly 250 bucks! So we got the last two for $40 a piece. They're kind of cool and are really heavy duty. Just one of those impulse buys!
